My approach

I design for clarity, not for show.

Five years across mobile, web, and AI taught me that the best work is quiet — it gets out of the way.

Start with the problem.

Not the screen, not the feature. The actual job someone is trying to get done — and why it's hard.

Research with intent.

Talk to real users. Map ecosystems. Test assumptions before they harden into a sprint.

Think in systems.

Components, patterns, edge cases. The design has to work in motion, at scale, and on the worst day — not just in the hero shot.

Ship, then iterate.

Done > perfect. Real signal beats internal opinion. Then refine with what the data and the users tell you.

Why me

A product designer with the combination teams actually need.

01

Where user needs meet business outcomes

I bridge user research with product strategy — designing experiences that move the metrics that matter (retention, conversion, satisfaction) while keeping the human at the center of every decision.

02

Research that earns its keep

Mixed-methods rigor — user interviews, usability tests, A/B experiments, and analytics. I move fluidly across Maze, Dovetail, Lookback, Hotjar, Figma, and Mural. Decisions backed by evidence, not opinion.

03

Collaborative by default

I partner closely with engineering, PM, content, and accessibility — shipping in tight loops, building shared language across disciplines, and turning cross-functional input into momentum, not blockers.

04

AI-fluent, accessibility-first, always current

Constantly evolving with where the field is going. AI patterns and tooling are first-class in my workflow. Accessibility championed from the foundation — WCAG AA+ as a baseline, not an afterthought.

Process

How I work, step by step.

A structured four-stage approach I've refined across every project.

  1. 01

    Discover

Stakeholder interviews, ecosystem mapping, and a hard look at what's actually in the way. Surface the friction points before drawing anything.

  2. 02

    Define

Translate research into a problem statement teams can rally around. Pick the principles that will guide every design decision downstream.

  3. 03

    Design

Wireframe wide, narrow fast. Iterate from low to high fidelity with the right people in the room — engineering, content, accessibility, leadership.

  4. 04

    Validate & ship

Usability test against the real problem. Measure with task success, SUS, and the metrics the business actually cares about. Then ship and watch.

About

Five years of shipping design that earns its keep.

I've spent five-plus years designing for mobile, web, and AI platforms across B2B and B2C — building experiences that align user needs with business outcomes, holding accessibility as a baseline, and shipping in tight cross-functional loops with product, engineering, and content teams.

My practice is research-led, system-minded, and always evolving with where the field is going — especially the way AI is reshaping design tools, patterns, and craft.
